CA' DEL RE: AN OASIS IN THE LANGHE LANDSCAPE
Hospitality, tradition, and innovation in one place
There is an ancient history inside the company "Verduno Castle"
It began in the sixteenth century at the hands of King Carlo Alberto of Savoy, with the vinification of what is now known as Barolo in the castle’s cellar. The property was later bought by the Burlotto family, while Battista Bianco began to vinify his grapes in Barbaresco. In the 80s the Burlotto and Bianco families intertwined around a single, great passion, the one for the noblest of Piedmontese vines: Nebbiolo.
Today the Castello di Verduno farm has vineyards in Barbaresco and Verduno.

Ca' del Re
In 2000, Cà del Re was founded in what used to be the farmhouse of the Castle farmer. The old barn with open brick vaults has become a large dining room where a magnificent stone fireplace, which warms everyone over the winter months, has
pride of place.
The materials selected for the furniture convey a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, such as La Pietra Compattata on the counter, whose color Mandorla blends with the bricks and the surrounding wood to create an area of comfort where you can taste the prestigious wines of the farm Castello di Verduno.

Enjoy a relaxing experience
Some of the farm rooms, cured in detail and located in the converted hay loft, are covered with La Pietra Compattata in a sober and elegant manner.
The format chosen in the size 6x25 is placed in the space with current bearing, although harmoniously blending with the landscape of the Langhe and returning to the interior environments the territory rurality features. The nuances of the Cromie collection reflect the style with which each room has been designed: retrace the tradition with contemporary refinement.

Today Giovanna Bianco and Emiliano Chiapella express on the farm their passion for hospitality and for "things done right", with calm and love. Just like La Pietra Compattata in the craftsmanship production process of its material.
